Stage 3 - France is a big country

Alaphilippe: It was a bit boring to ride at this pace all day.

Sagan: At some stage, I thought of stopping for a coffee.

Voeckler: It was a relatively boring stage.

Bennett: They went a lot easier, it was perfect for a recovery day - a long, six hour recovery day.

Why?

The finale was certainly worth watching, however. Cavendish and Greipel each gave a half-hearted victory sign, probably more for the potential photo than from any real conviction that they'd won. In the end, Cav was determined to have slightly fatter tyres so he gets the win, the green jersey and the flowers.

No so close in the sweep:

Terri continues to take in the $$ with the benefit of having Cav in her team.
